But it's in swf (but yes, it's real, actual video, not a cartoon) and I need to convert it to avi so I can use it with my video editing software. The first swf2avi software I downloaded refused to install and the second one threw me an error. If anybody has software + knowhow to help me convert this bugger, feel free to PM me.
Any help would be much appreciated..! And I'd give you an actual real name credit in the documentary about him that I'm making.
Well what i do to record flash videos is camstudio or camtasia.

Basically the same thing except camstudio is free.(I would recommend it more and you can record audio from your speakers, you can for camtasia but you need the stereo mix option not microphone)

Just put it in Flash, export > export movie > .avi
Its easy.

no, can't import it, all I get is a bunch of empty frames and an empty library. this nut is tougher than that.
